FAQs

We’re here to answer all your questions about our dog training services!

We offer a wide range of dog training services, including puppy training, manners training, obedience training, and behavioral modification. Our experienced trainers will tailor the program to suit your dog’s individual needs.

The duration of a dog training session depends on the specific program and your dog’s progress. On average, sessions typically last between 45 minutes to 1 hour. Our trainers will provide you with a more accurate estimate based on your dog’s training needs.

At Ventura Dog Trainers, we believe in positive reinforcement techniques. Our certified trainers use reward-based methods to encourage and reinforce desired behaviors. We do not use harsh or punitive methods that may harm or stress your dog.

At the moment, we do not offer group training classes but have glowing recommendations where dogs can learn and socialize with other dogs in a controlled environment. Group classes provide an opportunity for well-behaved dogs to practice obedience skills and improve their socialization skills.
